^ That is entirely possible. I think, considering that Eric and Cory left for New York at the end of Boy Meets World, Alan and Amy probably came up with monthly family get-togethers to make sure that they wouldn't lose touch with the younger kids. And they probably came up with slightly less-frequent gatherings that would include Eric and Cory.

I wish we could have seen more Matthews family moments in Goodbye. They each talked to Cory, Topanga or the kids in pairs or alone. There wasn't really any group moments between them. That's what I wanted to see after we waited so long to have them all together again.

^ That's entirely possible. That's why I wish the episode had been an hour long or a two-parter. Every time I think about everything that needed to be crammed into Goodbye and all of the guest-stars that were in it, I am reminded of all of the scenes that didn't make the cut because of time. At least we got all of them in the same room. That was nice to see. Plus there were the individual scenes with the Matthews family plus Amy/Alan, Eric and the Morgans.

^ The cast and crew were in limbo. Since they didn't know if there would be a season four, they had to toe the line of making Goodbye a season finale and a series finale at the same time. That isn't an easy thing to do.

It occurs to me...that I can't ever remember them going on vacation together...not the original Matthews family or the new Matthews family. Just what did they do for the summer anyway?

^ I'm surprised about that too...but it's not too late. They could have another kid. Alan and Amy had a 'surprise' kid when they already had three grown children. We already found out that Auggie wouldn't be opposed to another sibling.
