So....here's me starting to be obsessive....

Rowan did an interview with the French Disney magazine, & apparently she mentions that Maya has a crush on Lucas! Here's a link to the tumblr post about it

I always thought their scenes were quite flirty, & thought it most likely wasn't intended, because it seemed so clear that we're supposed to root for Lucas & Riley, but now I'm getting optimistic!

the rowan interview was translated though so they could have just gotten it wrong. i have a feeling rowen meant that riley had a crush on lucas?

That's what I thought at first too, but I don't think that they did get the girls mixed up though. Apparently, a better translation is that Maya has a 'weakness' or a 'soft spot' for Lucas
