Oh that was definitely what it was, it was clear from the start, he knew no matter what he did someone was gonna get hurt, and he didn't want that

I could literally watch them again and again and go "oh that one!!!" forever

I dont know I dont get writers. They deserved interaction at the very least. But it seemed they focused more on friendship in season 3 anyways, even R/L who were a "couple" barely got scenes. lol.

Yeah, exactly. I think Lucas was choosing what he thought was right and Maya basically giving him permission just made it easier.

That last look they shared in the finale gave me some hope.

Yeah, I think there's definitely still something between them (& I think the more time that passes, the more that the 'what ifs?' will get under their skin), & I think the fact that they can barely even be friends shows they are probably both aware of it, even if they would never ever admit it.

I think that as much as they try to come up with ridiculous explanations to explain it all alway, they just can't. There's feelings there & sooner of later, they're gonna have to deal with it
