this is how i write my fics too, i only focus the scenes on the characters the fic is about. i understand development and back story but oyu can still achieve that and center around the main two.

i miss these two, but its hard to visit when i dont hae a lot to say anymore. without new episodes its a bit blah.

If the ship is the goal they definitely hold the weight, and the POV, but then their interactions with others can also bring development to the relationship, the world feeling more complete kind of makes it feel more real, to me at least

Also we can never have too many rewatches We will definitely have a complete rewatch at some point, but we could have a Lucaya centric rewatch in here, too, there was one for Jake and Amy on B99 board, that was great

I just did a rewatch so I wont be joining but i can def. discuss scenes.

I was thinking about it the other day and Lucas says in the "break up" scene that he never wants to hurt Maya and it made me think, thats probably why he stalled so long in the whole triangle, he didnt want to hurt either girl. And one could argue her telling him to for Riley was the reason he made a decision at all.

I do, but not LM. I would feel weird writing LM because of their ages. (and because i really only like to write explicit fics ) My old fics were mostly Liam/Harry from one direction. I like to write for boy/boy pairings. I might do a archie/jughead one soon.

I think Lucas not wanting to hurt either girl is the reason why the triangle went on so long & whenever someone asked him what he wants, he would say he didn't want anyone to get hurt. Then when it came time to make a decision in Ski Lodge, everyone kept saying that the right choice would be the one that would keep the group together & Maya said it was the only choice he could have made......it wasn't about him following his heart now, was it?

Suddenly Maya was into Josh, she decided she didn't like Lucas that way & the choice was pretty much made for him. Let's face it, if he chose Maya, Riley just wouldn't have been able to cope with it - Lucas never really had a choice at all
