Those are my questions as well, especially the first question about whether or not a possible love connection was planned from the beginning. My take on things is that they went with it because they saw the chemistry or they heard the positive fan response. I would still want confirmation.

I know what you mean. Most of the time, I think TPTB went the love connection route with them because of their awesome chemistry and the fan response. Then there are those other times where I remember that first meeting and I think about some of their early season one moments, and I think that it was planned from the beginning.

I've been thinking that if they had had another 'ha-hur' moment, it would have maybe ended with a kiss. I mean, that last gif was thisclose to a kiss actually happening.

I wouldn't have minded if a 'ha-hur' had led to their first kiss. I can imagine it...especially if it had been Lucas that had 'ha-hur'ed and Maya hadn't been able to resist the urge to kiss him.

I don't know what I'd want their first kiss to be like. If it had happened in Texas part 2, I would have been really happy with that. But because it didn't, I think I'd want it to be a little bit different next time they get that close...
