^ Yes! I am always drawn to characters that have to struggle before they get to a good place. It makes me more interested in tuning in so that I can watch them get to that good place.

^ I totally agree. The best part of watching a show is being there as our favorite characters learn from their experiences, and they become better and stronger characters as a result.

^ Some details are coming back to me, but I don't have the complete picture yet. The only moment that is a little clearer is the scene/gif where Katy thought someone took $100 from the cash register, and it turned out that she put two 50s under the drawer and forgot all about them. "Stay in school, kids."

I remember the scene where they all went to see the mural Maya had done, I think Katy was pretty proud

^ Nope, it's mostly a blank, but I do remember the hammer and brick bit and how Maya made the right choice when Carla told her to prove that she wasn't weak. Besides, that mural was so beautiful! Who wouldn't be proud of that?

^ I'm sure Katy was the first person who got to see Maya's artwork. I think she is so amazed by her talent, and the more she sees of it, the prouder she is.

Definitely, & she'd always support Maya with any step she was taking with her art, buying her the supplies, hyping her up to other people, helping out at shows etc
