^ That is true. It would have been so easy for her to have a negative attitude, but she seemed to decide that keeping a postive attitude would hopefully bring good things her way.

^ I think she did. Maya may not have had the strongest relationship with Katy in the beginning, but she did know that Katy was a good person. She definitely took a lot of cues from her.

You could. TPTB did a great job of casting the actresses, and then building their characters so we could see their similarities.
