^ I think losing Mr. Turner would have crushed that tiny sliver of hope he had that he could have someone in his life that would stick around. It might have made him closed-off and very reluctant to get close to people.

I think so too. Seeing them together again makes me wonder about all of the moments that they could have shared. You can bet that they will keep in touch as much as they can.

^ Always and forever. I don't remember either one of them saying it out loud on Boy Meets World, but I think they both felt that they were father and son.

^ I totally agree. Some things don't have to be said. The actions speak for themselves. It was clear that they had a strong bond from very early on, and that that bond only became stronger the more time they spent together.

It did, & the fact that Turner says that he regretted not adopting Shawn, shows that he did think of him as family, & he wishes that he had made it official

^ I think so too. I bet Mr. Turner would have gone through with it if he had gotten the sense that Chet wasn't going to come back for Shawn...or maybe he was considering it when Chet did come back. Did we ever see Mr. Turner with official paperwork for Shawn's adoption on Boy Meets World?
