 He was so excited that he was going to have another baby sister or brother.  I love that he was so interested in learning as much as he could...but it doesn't seem like Rachel and Jack shared his enthusiasm.   __________________

^ Yup! He wanted them to feel the same way about procreation that he was feeling, that it is a miraculous and beautiful thing. Maybe Jack and Rachel would have been open to hearing about what Eric was learning if Eric had chosen to reveal those facts at another time, like when they weren't eating. =p

^ I think so too. Eric always did have the ability to get the people around him as excited about the things that interested and excited him. I'm sure it didn't take him long to get Jack and Rachel to feel his excitement.

^ I can imagine that. I don't have personal experience of pregnancy, but I'm sure there are some parts of it that are amazing and beautiful. You can bet that Eric found those parts in that book, and he shared them with Jack and Rachel.
