 And so was John Wesley Shipp! I didn't even know about that show. Mind-blown!   Of course he did. Mr. Turner had lots of experience dealing with kids, whereas Luke was learning as he went along.  My favorite part of the comparison is that Mr. Turner and Luke watched Shawn and Jess go through some rough stuff, but in the end, they were really proud of the people that they became.    __________________

Well yeah, why do you think they had him come in as Barry's dad, and then Jay Garrick?
 Also 'Christina McGee' from the other labs was in there, too, in the same role  Well they definitely had different, uh... techniques   __________________

 I'm just going to pretend that Mr. Turner pushed Shawn in a lake. Shawn did have a few moments where he tested Mr. Turner's patience (please don't ask for specifics, because I don't remember specific moments. It's more a feeling that he did it.  ). =p__________________

When Jay pulled Barry out before he could go and try to 'fix' thing again and brought him to a diner to explain things, Dawson's Creek was playing on the television on the counter
Yeah that sounds about right Cue Shawn emerging from the water, flipping that hair around __________________

^ I didn't watch much TV when I was in my pre-teens and teens, so I missed out on a lot of shows.
 How did you figure it out? The only wrinkle in that scenario is...when could Mr. Turner have pushed Shawn in a lake...or any body of water?  __________________

^ I can't remember if there were any instances where the characters used a pool during the high school seasons. I'll have to keep an eye out for that.
  I can picture Shawn and Mr. Turner having a discussion/disagreement because Mr. Turner is trying to convince Shawn to do something...and they happen to be having this discussion/disagreement while standing besides a lake. And the more Shawn refuses, the more frustrated Mr. Turner gets...and then  and SPLASH! __________________
