^ I always thought that she could rule the world...if she wanted to. =p I really loved those moments where Cory was Topanga's biggest supporter. He always believed in her, and I think she needed someone like that in her life.

^ Oh, yes. Topanga is the kind of person that is always going to want to be the best. I'm positive that she will get another opportunity like the one she got at the end of the series.

I remember that one episode where Cory felt like he didn't measure up to Topanga and they had that big fight. And then when they made up and he decided to tag-team it with her to sell that magazine subscription to that tough customer, I loved that Cory's persistence won the customer over in the end. Moments like that were amazing since we got to see that Cory had qualities that made him the perfect partner for Topanga.

We did, & I can definitely understand him having problems with his self-esteem, I think everyone would after spending a lot of time around Topanga

They important thing is that they talked it out & addressed those issues

^ I saw that too. She has always been an exceptional person. It wasn't surprising that he felt like he didn't quite measure up to her.

I was so happy that they locked themselves at home, and they told each other exactly how they were feeling. They really needed to get all of that out, and to deal with it because clearly they had been carrying around that weight for a while.

Yeah, I think for some of the younger audience they might not have liked it - seeing them being quite harsh with each other - but the reality is, you got to have issues out like that sometimes

^ I'm choosing to believe that those viewers will re-watch Cory and Topanga's fight when they're older, and they'll see that they both needed to unburden themselves. It wouldn't have been good for either one of them to keep all that bottled up.

^ That's true. We gain wisdom and experience with age. I remember being so heartbroken every time Cory and Topanga broke up. Now I watch those same moments, and I realize that all of their break-ups were needed to make them stronger people and a stronger couple.

^ TPTB did such an amazing job of guiding them through their ups and downs of their relationship. Not a lot of shows can show a healthy, positive relationship like TPTB showed with Cory and Topanga.

& I agree, the writers knew that they needed to grow & mature, & they allowed them to do that instead of worrying about breaking the magic of Cory & Topanga. By being honest about what relationships are like & letting them go through those bad times, they made them more special
