^ Oh, yes, me too. Even though it's tough to watch angst, especially when it's centered around a ship, I know it's necessary. Having them on separate journeys makes the characters learn and grow from their separation, and it makes them a stronger couple when they reconcile.

That definitely happened every time Cory and Topanga broke up.

Sometimes the angsty scenes can be some of their best

& even though it breaks my heart, I love the breakup at Chubbie's, it just felt so real & we got to see both of the actors go places that we didn't usually see on bmw

Yes, that breakup scene at Chubbies was so sad, but so great at the same time. You felt their pain.

I totally agree. All of my ships have a touch of angst to them. I think nothing worth having is easy, so it's important for them to go through hard times. It makes me feel good to know that they fought for their love.

It did. Both Ben and Danielle made me feel Cory and Topanga's struggle in that moment.

Same, I don't know if ships would feel as real to me or if I'd be as invested in them if they didn't have hard times sometines

^ I love seeing their different reactions to the same moment. Look at Topanga all warm and motherly, wanting to talk about the kiss. Now look at Cory all freaked out and panicking, wanting to avoid knowing about it.
