Heh, just read a Rilaya fic. I'm not too keen about the lifestyle....but I'm fine if that is the way they want to go. There were a few times, while watching an ep I wondered if they were going to finally come out and tell each other that it isn't Lucas they love but each other.

A part of me wants to see a rift between them. When two characters have the kind of strong bond that Maya and Riley have, I want there to be a bit of a shake-up in their bond. I'd only want it to last a few episodes, but I'd still want to see what it would be like to see them divided. Since the show is on Disney, I don't think I'll get my wish.

I agree. Television isn't quite there yet.

I'm with you on that. That's why I love Girl Meets World so much. No matter which ships you're rooting for, the one constant that there is is that Riley and Maya's friendship will be the strongest bond. =)

I'm nitpicking. Since I'm in my thirties, I'm thinking logically, instead of just sitting back and enjoying the show. I'll accept that Maya may have lived down the way.


That's another excellent possibility. I guess I'm always going to wonder how Maya found herself near Riley's window that day.

I'm with you on the thinking too much I watch Supergirl sometimes like 'You're gonna tell me she has her Supergirl outfit on all the time under her clothes, how do they not see it?? Where is her cape? Where are her boots??"

^ Aw, now you've got me nitpicking about that. That thought actually occurred to me while I was watching 1x09 yesterday. Now do you see why I need things spelled out to me? It took nine episodes for me to question the two layers of clothes that she wears.

So have you watched World: Of Terror 3? I'd love to hear ( ) your thoughts on the Riley/Maya parts.

I would be more than ok if they went romantic with rilaya, they have pretty good chemistry, but I just don't think the writers are going to go there.....it's a shame really, but I don't think Disney will let them, not sure when Disney's gonna get there tbh.....

^ I don't think Disney will ever go there. It's too raw for a organization whose shows and movies are for children and young adults.

Do you think there was anything that Maya could have said to convince Riley not to defy her parents in Her Monster?
