^ That is true. It was another fine 'goodbye' scene, but I think a final classroom scene would have made a bigger impact. I bet the cast would have had the same reaction to saying goodbye to their teacher, like the Core Four did when they said goodbye to Mr. Feeny.

I think that would have had a lot more emotional impact, would have liked to see that when the writers knew that it was a series finale.

When they redid Cory's speech at the end of s3 & had everyone say a bit of it, was just a bit too cheesey for me, didn't get me like I think the writers wanted...

^ Exactly. I'm sure TPTB would have made different choices with the scenes they included in the episode if they had known beforehand that it was the series finale.

I get that. It didn't make the same impact on me either.

It just wasn't really earned yet, they still had a lot of the world to meet, & I think that if they had just had Cory say it it would have had more impact
