The subtle foreshadowing that Riley and Lucas will reunite and the triangle will be over was when Lucas picked "Jexica" which of course was Riley. Another clue was when Riley got slightly jealous when Lucas mentioned another girl and then got happy when she realized it was her online persona. Another hint was when Maya reacted like he had to "even things up" and he said he was tired. Another subtle hint of foreshadowing that Lucas has already made his choice since things are not even and he can't keep up... he's picked Riley. These are subtle but distinct hints throughout the episode. Our ship's looking good.

You can see the slow build. It feels realistic too. The "triangle" still exists just because of one liners in the episodes but what's actually going on in the episodes, the subtle moments, one of the general themes in each episode, completely spells out Riley/Lucas has crossed the finish line and the triangle is essentially over but we have to wait it out until it becomes official.

I am loving the slow build until we get there and then the payoff's going to be outstanding.

He didn't say it out loud. He wrote it in a message he sent to "Jexica" who is actually Riley and he knew this when he sent it.

We should add "I'd know you anywhere." to our future titles list

I love seeing the slow build between Riley and Lucas that we are getting and we getting so much to add to the OP. I think that because of the slow build that the pay off will be great and I look forward to seeing that. I love that thread title too.

I also find it interesting how Maya knew right away that Lucas knew Riley was Jexica when she saw the message. And Maya almost seemed to be going through the motions with asking Lucas to say something to her, too after he said he'd know Riley anywhere. It made me think that she knows where Lucas' heart lies. But I don't know if I ever really saw it as a true love triangle anyway. It seems clear to me that it was always Riley. Also, can I be added to the list?
