I can't wait until Season 3 too! I also think that it was hard not to notice that Charlie did make an effort to get to know Riley and he treats her like a Princess that she still clearly likes and wants to be with Lucas. Lucas also gets clearly gets jealous of Charlie when he tries to date Riley.

I don't think that their feelings for each other went away even though yes, I think that Riley thought that her feelings for Lucas would just go away and that somehow putting her personal feelings for Lucas aside would be best for everyone and Riley wanted more than anything to avoid the current situation and if that meant that she had to hide her personal feelings for Lucas then she was okay with that.
