^ Oh, Farkle. How do you think Farkle and Riley would have re-connected in the library? I mean, they seemed very close even back then, but I'm sure they could have been even close.

They could have, I do think we saw a journey on Riley's part in s1 about the way she saw Farkle - I think at first, she took him for granted & didn't really see all his good qualities, but she did by the end of the season & knew how lucky she was to have him in her life
Not sure if we would have been able to get that kind of progress in one night __________________

^ That sounds very likely. I wonder if she would have had that realization sooner if they had spent some one-on-one time together in Boy.
That's true. but I think they would have had some significant moments that would have brought them a little closer. __________________

That's true, I but I do love a slowburn & seeing Riley slowly come to terms with some things has been wonderful to watch - although, I do love whenever they get more obvious moments too, so either is good to me!

^ It does get frustrating sometimes. Thankfully, I have so much experience in shipping all kinds of ships that I quickly recognize when I have a slow-burn ship on my hands. That makes it easier to deal with the 'Why aren't they together yet' disappointments.

I think I don't really have many current ships anymore, I mean that most of mine are on shows that have finished now (wish, I suppose includes Riley/Farkle now ), & I don't watch many new shows & don't really have many ships anymore, so I can get quite frustrated with the slow burns ones sometimes

^ Now that I think about it, a lot of my ships are on shows that have ended too. I don't watch that many shows either, and if I do have ships on the shows that I do watch, I only low-key ship them.
From what I remember of the show, Riley kind of let Farkle go when she saw that Farkle and Smackle were getting closer. How do you think Riley and Farkle's relationship would have been different if there hadn't been a Smackle in the mix? __________________

Idk, I think it still would have been slow burn because seeing Farkle with Smackle did confuse her a little - but she didn't seem to understand a while. I think that might be one of the little pushes she needed to slowly realize that he was the right guy for her

^ I don't remember her being confused by Farkle's relationship with Smackle. Which moment or moments come to mind? That's a good point. Maybe seeing Farkle with Smackle would have made her realize what she had.
