^ That too. No matter how hard the guys tried to be who they thought she wanted them to be, they weren't going to be able to keep it up for long. Eventually Rachel was going to see their true selves, so she told them to just be themselves.

^ That's how I remember it. They really were a great trio. The triangle was the other blemish on their dynamic. I think, if TPTB had dealt with it sooner, then the bonds among the trio would have been even stronger.
