^ Oh, yes. There is only going to be one Mr. Feeny...but I do love that Cory followed in his footsteps by becoming a teacher like him. The best compliment that Mr. Feeny will receive is to see how much he inspired Cory as a teacher. I think he will be very touched by it.

I think so too - & I like to think that they talked about it off screen some time, perhaps when Cory first qualified as a teacher

^ Oh, yes. Mr. Feeny was probably one of Cory's first calls when he made that decision to become a teacher. And in moments where Cory wouldn't be sure in his ability to teach young minds (probably in the first days of his teaching career), I think Cory gave Mr. Feeny a call. You can bet that Mr. Feeny gave him one of his classic Mr. Feeny pep talks and Cory got his spark back. =)

Definitely, I'm sure that whenever Cory got a little overwhelmed & freaked out (which was probably a lot when he first started) he gave Feeny a call

^ I think so too. Let's just hope that Cory picked his moments to rely on Mr. Feeny, that he didn't call him at all hours of the night. I'm sure Mr. Feeny did his best to make sure he got Cory back on track, but calls in the middle of the night -- even Mr. Feeny's patience has its limits.

^ It was! Even though it was so obvious that 'Cory' was short for 'Cornelius', it was still a sweet moment. It made me laugh in a moment where I was so sad to say goodbye to the characters.

^ It did! I am so happy that TPTB gave us that one last sweet moment between Cory and Mr. Feeny. It showed me that, even though we were saying goodbye to them, we would know that they were always going to have that strong bond.

They definitely were, Feeny was always going to be such a big part of who Cory had become

^ Oh, yes. And since Mr. Feeny had been there for Cory for most of his life, it was probably hard for Cory to fully sever ties with Mr. Feeny. And because of that bond, I think Cory kept Mr. Feeny updated on what was going on with him, even when they weren't living in the same city anymore.
