^ Yes, indeed. From what I remember, that lesson didn't quite stick, since Cory took a shortcut.

Sidenote -- I'm pretty sure that was the first episode of Boy Meets World that I watched. I mostly remember when Cory moved the shutters away from Mr. Feeny's fence and he saw that the paint had bled through.

Yeah, that's right, so Cory learned that his shortcut had been a bad idea, things just seemed to keep getting worse for him!

^ Things always went wrong for Cory before they got better.

From what I remember of the episode, it seemed like Mr. Feeny expected that Cory would make him regret his decision to give him the job. It turned out that he was right.

Yeah, I think that is great! Cory definitely became a teacher very similar to Feeny.

I didn't even make that connection.

I love that! Cory learned so much from Mr Feeny, so it's not a surprise that he tried his best to teach the same lessons.

He knew that he was really lucky to have someone like Feeny to guide him, so he was trying to do that for the next generation
