At least you knew that detail about her season five scenes. I was clueless until a few years ago. I am really looking forward to finding the different ways TPTB hid her pregnancy.

Yeah, I just remember them putting her in baggy shirts but she didn't look pregnant at all. She must be one of those lucky women that barely gains weight when their pregnant or something lol.

That does seem to be the easiest way to hide a pregnancy on a show.

I've seen some shows do a pretty bad job of covering a pregnancy

^ Really? What have been some of those tricks that didn't hide a pregnancy? Clearly TPTB did a better job of hiding the fact that Trina was pregnant. I didn't have a clue.

I don't know if you ever watched Hart of Dixie, but both their lead actresses got pregnant throughout the course of the show, & it was pretty obvious. I didn't really mind though, but it was impossible to not notice

I think the only show I watched where the actress was pregnant was Scandal. Both times KW was pregnant it was easy to tell cause her face was fuller and Olivia went from wearing tight suits and clothes to baggy clothes. It just seemed odd for her character, but they hid Trina's the best.

^ I can't agree or disagree since I didn't know that Trina was pregnant during season five, so I didn't notice any of the signs. I'll have to see if I notice them when I check out her scenes during my next re-watch.


I did not watch Hart of Dixie. Now I'm curious about how noticable the actresses' pregnancies were.

They did write her pregnancy into the show, but she was already heavily pregnant when they came back to film season 4, so they had 2 episodes to have her character get pregnant & then they stopped hiding it

I've seen plenty of showrunners writing in a pregnancy to avoid having to hide the actress' real-life pregnancy. Sometimes it works. Other times it does not. Do you think the Boy Meets World PTB considered making that move with Trina?

lol! I would hope not, that would be a disaster. She was a new student in high school, and just got with Shawn. I don't get how that would of worked, too messy.

^ Ohh, I forgot about that 'new student' bit. Now that you've reminded me of those two big details, I can see why it wouldn't have worked to have Trina's pregnancy written into the show.
