^ I wouldn't think so. They know that their children are grown up. With their youngest child off finding out how he wants to leave his mark on the world, they can relax a little bit and enjoy this new stage of their lives. Now is the time for them to focus on the two of them as a couple, and to enjoy the perks of being grandparents to their grandchildren.

That is true. I'm sure they had lots of plans for what they were going to do and where they were going to go once Morgan was no longer living in the house. Alan and Amy finding out that they were going to have a fourth child was most definitely a wonderful surprise for them, but it also made them push back their plans for about eighteen years. Now that Josh is at college in another city, I'm sure they've pulled out that list and they have slowly started crossing off those wishlist items. I wonder what they've been doing with themselves.

I loved that scene! Amy was about to bend and let Cory and Topanga stay...but Alan convinced her that they should stay strong.

^ Cory thought that Amy would cave because she was his mom and she wiped his tushy...but Alan knew that they had to face their new reality. Cory and Topanga got married because they thought they were ready. They chose to be together for better or for worse. They couldn't run home and expect Alan and Amy to make it all better for them the minute they got into some difficulties. Alan communicated to Amy that the best way to handle the situation was to give them some tough love. As much as it hurt them both to refuse to help them, they knew it had to be done.

^ It was harsh...but it had to be done. It was the reality check of grown-up life. I think Amy and Alan made the right choice.

^ Maybe they thought that that 'wee little bone' wouldn't have been a wee little bone. I mean, think about it. If Alan and Amy had let Cory and Topanga stay, then Cory and Topanga would have gotten settled and those few days may have lasted weeks or months. They needed that push to start figuring out what they were going to do with the next stage of their lives.
