^ I was thinking about the early days when they first met and they were slowly getting to know each other. I would have loved to have seen Shawn/Riley spending time together and finding common ground.

And even though they've been in each other's lives for many, many years, I have the sense that maybe Cory/Maya could have become even closer if they spent a little more one-on-one time together.

I would have loved to see that too. It would have been great to see all four of them be close.

I like to imagine that that happened off-screen.

I wish we could have seen them spending time together and getting closer on-screen though.

Oh, yes. I loved thinking about these four characters together. It was great to imagine the two pairs of BFFs spending time together.

^ I know! When I started watching Girl Meets World, I thought that there was no way that TPTB would parallel Riley and Maya with Cory and Shawn...but it didn't take long before the first parallel popped up. I watched the dynamic between the two girls, and I instantly felt the same vibe that I felt with Cory and Shawn.

^ Me too! I didn't think I would love another friendship as much as I loved Cory and Shawn's friendship...but then I watched the dynamic between Riley and Maya, and I found another awesome friendship.
