 Since Shawn only dropped in and out of Cory, Riley and Maya's lives for so many years, he missed out on so much.  I can imagine him wanting them to fill him in on those years. I can picture the foursome spending a lazy day together where they would sit around telling stories about each other. __________________

^ Yes! You just made my scenario even better.
  It would start off the four of them telling a couple of stories...and it would turn into hours and hours (maybe a whole day) of talking and bonding, with the watching of videos, viewing of pictures and re-enacting of moments. Then in the morning, Topanga and Katy would find them either still up and bonding, or Riley/Maya and Cory/Shawn 'yip, yip. yip'ing on the couch and the floor respectively.  __________________

^ They could do it...if they take breaks throughout the day.
 Maybe they can have a Kings and Queens Day tradition. They can choose one of the four characters, and make them the star of the stories for that day. Then they can switch the spotlight to another one of the characters when they gather for the next Kings and Queens Day. And round and round we go.  That way they can focus on one person at a time, and everyone will get a chance in the spotlight.  Clearly, I've thought a lot about this scenario. __________________

^ Their birthdays would definitely be good days to do the whole spotlight thing. The attention is already on the birthday girls and boys. Having them be the stars of the stories on their birthdays would make their birthdays even more special.

^ No, I meant Rory from Gilmore Girls. I caught her sweet sixteen episode the other day. There was that scene where Rory was in the middle of the group of partygoers, and they were telling stories about her.
I can picture something similar with the Kings and Queens. =p__________________

^ Gilmore Girls is one of my favorite shows...and I keep finding connections between the show and Boy Meets World/Girl Meets World. If you're not sure what I'm saying, consider the possibility that it has something to do with Gilmore Girls.
Can you imagine the girls' birth stories being told every year on their birthdays? It would be hilarious!  Too bad the guys won't get to experience that.  __________________
