^ I agree. It never looked like Will was uncomfortable or hesitant in his more out-there scenes. He looked like every situation was the way it was supposed to be, and he just put everything into those moments.

I think I once read that Will actually asked for Eric to become more of a comedic character, which would make sense

^ Oh, I didn't know that! I can understand why Will made that request. He probably noticed how loved Eric was by the fans/viewers when he was being the loveable goof, and he wanted to keep feeling that love from them.

I think it was just easier for him, I think that his anxiety might have played a part in it

I can't really remember, I think he was just more comfortable that way. I think that he's spoken openly about his anxiety a lot over the last few years, he used to get really nervous about acting in front on an audience & I think he had panic attacks about it sometimes. That's why after bmw he did a lot of voice work, because he didn't want to be in front of the camera so much anymore. With gmw, he eased into it pretty slowly, but he said that doing those episodes & feeling the support from the fanbase was really good for him

^ Aw, I didn't know that. Poor guy. I can understand that. I can only imagine how stressful it was performing in front of an audience. I'm sure more celebrities have the same anxiety. I'm actually a little surprised that we don't hear/read about their experiences. I didn't connect Will's voice work to his anxiety. I just thought he liked the work. I love that his fans gave him support. I'm not surprised that he got so much love. Eric has to be one of the most loved characters on TV. I'm so happy the love he received helped him.

Yeah, I think it affected him a lot for a time - but he is doing a lot better now & really enjoyed his time on gmw from what I can gather

^ I loved that too. The huge task of writing a ten thousand-word essay broke him quickly, didn't it? I love how he used "I want my mommy" as the first three four words of his essay.
