I think so, he's still their teacher in a lot of ways & will always be there for them when they need it

I think so too. Mr. Feeny can't turn off his teacher mode, no matter what he does. I think he will impart a little bit of his wisdom to his former students every time they see him.

I love that moment! Eric's gift was perfect, and like you said, Mr. Feeny seemed to really love it.

The fact that those kinds of moments didn't happen often only makes me love them even more. I loved it when one or both of them would let their feelings show.

Eric had accepted that Mr. Feeny was doing his own thing, and he didn't think Mr. Feeny would turn up in his class of all places. =p

Oh, definitely! Mr. Feeny spent so many years keeping a straight face when Eric did something that would make anybody else crack a smile. There was going to be a time where he couldn't keep a straight face around him anymore.

I just love how oblivious he is - I imagine that he had been hallucinating, seeing Feeny when he wasn't there, so when Feeny was there, he still didn't believe what he was seeing

And I think that's what happened too. Eric really missed Mr. Feeny, so he probably kept seeing him everywhere. I want to know why Eric thought Rachel and Jack were seeing Mr. Feeny too when they weren't as close to Mr. Feeny as Eric was.

There was that episode early on in s5 where he was getting advice from his imaginary Feeny & it took him a while to realize that no one else could see him
