^ Eric loved Mr. Feeny. He just wanted him to stay, even if it meant he would have to keep his distance from him.

I know! You can definitely see that in the last gif of that set.

I know! Mr. Feeny didn't want Eric to think that. It breaks my heart to think that Eric thought he was one of the reasons that Mr. Feeny was leaving.

^ I think so too. I bet Mr. Feeny sat Eric down and he explained his reasons. Eric might not have accepted them, since we know that he kept trying to change Mr. Feeny's mind, but I like to think Mr. Feeny made sure Eric knew that he wasn't responsible for his decision.

Ooh, Mr. Feeny was scary there.

You just know that Mr. Feeny's bark is worse than his bite. He wouldn't be able to scare anyone away, especially Eric.
