still only 31 casualties, and the number of people missing has hugely decreased.
9,000 people currently without a home... i don't want to imagine that.

I read a comment somewhere comparing this to the 2004 tsunami.... i have to say that the footages would agree with that.

everything is starting to smell, a firefighter spoke about a home where the downstairs had water up to 30cm below ceiling.... mindblowing.

We actually could... if we'd go to bed early... (she's in bed by 7:00PM) she's a good sleeper, *knocks on wood* she'll have a fuss once in a while but overall, definetely zero complaints so far.

it's always the getting up on time for her breakfast.

We’ve had a tsunami after a major earrhquake 10 years ago and the destruction it left was incredible.

You are lucky Margo sleeps well.

The force of water

They’re expecting more rain for the weekend and the first half of next week…. Crossing our fingers it won’t result in another flood.

Got my second vaccine this afternoon… hadn’t heard anything good from anyone who had already gotten it before me… bracing myself with some pain medicine before bed and hope for the best. Last day tomorrow, I’d hate to have to call in sick.

Counting that as a true blessing!!
