late shifts are from 1:10 - 9:30, home by 10:00

it's a holiday today and we're making the bridge tomorrow. long weekend for me

Enough plans/to do but nothing is set in stone. Taking it day by day. And i have phone issues since yesterday... the screen of my iPhone broke back in June and we replaced it but with non original parts which means that I was able to use my phone but without the home button...no problem with that, i was able to use assistive touch but with the software update i did yesterday i need to use that frickin home button to get in the system... i’m hoping to still get the screen fixed with original parts (we put my broken screen back in)so I don’t need to invest in a brand new phone just yet cause I don’t know how much budget I have to do so.

Sorry for the rant, i haven’t been sleeping that well the last couple of weeks and I got a little stressed out yesterday.

Can't you just get a free replacement phone from Apple? I know they offer that service down here.

Sadly no, maybe I can use one while they repair mine but my phone is out of guarantee. I didn’t buy it straight from Apple. I bought it at an electronics store and didn’t get extra insurance for it considering my last iphone is still in perfect condition. Last time I went to lab9 they were only able to offer me a refurbished phone to buy with receiving mine to fix and sell as well...

I already researched what a refurbished 7 might cost and it’s easily 450 for the exact same phone as mine while a new Xr only costs 860... i think i’ll keep debating on it until i’m at the store tomorrow.

That sucks, I didn't either and it was out of guarantee as well but we still gotta a replacement. Guess it depends on what the problem is with the phone I guess

they offered paid replacement. I would have gotten a new phone from the factory but made up from all recycled parts. Apparently the border of the case was too damaged to repair the glass itself. Now I just got a new phone and while I was there I made sure to put an extra layer on my screen and I’ve subscribed for some insurance for it just in case I got the same issues again. I’d rather pay that than have to buy a new phone every year /year and a half.

Tom is a little jealous cause I’m the first one of both of us to get a new one. He’ll get over it soon and just buy a new one next year (his will be 3 years old then)
My problem got fixed and that’s all I needed.

Oh god, I need to do that too!
