I hope it won't either, but I'll just have to wait and see. my fiance has given me "carte blanche" (blank canvas) I can simply do whatever, the only thing he's taking care of is his costume and the car that will get us everywhere that day. So I'm crossing my fingers I won't start pulling my hair out at one point.

I live to far away and I've never been a bride but I have plenty of experience with weddings and it's not easy but 9 months is time enough.

I'm thinking that if the whole planning has finished in time, I'll try to do relaxing things in the week prior to the wedding, wellness with Tom, mani/pedi with my maid of honor

Thanks hun! I think 9 months is do-able if the location is free. That's the main thing around here! Certain locations take 1-2 years reservation in advance! My oldest niece has already made reservations with a caterer quite a while back for a christian party thing (the one when you're about 6 years old) a week before our wedding. I just hope we'll be lucky by chosing a Friday instead of a Saturday... fingers crossed!

Here 9 months is good but most people marry in a year, my cousin got married in 5 months because there was a cancellation.

Most people here are catholics, so you need to book a church and a place for the party.

I'm so happy for you, I really want updates of how everything is going.

and next year tom is turning 30... it'll feel like we'll be celebrating for a while

For us it's city hall and the location (meeting in less than an hour )
