| Mod Away Note: Stupid Hurricanes! Okay, I've never really had to do this before so hopefully I'm doing things the right way. If I'm not, Susan will close this thread. I've already let her know what's going on (PM for you, sweetie!) and the head mods. I live in North Carolina, about two hours from the coast and we're all now basically waiting for the hurricane to hit land. Because of the close proximity, I'm going to be affected by it. It's already raining here and I've been told that it's going to get worse. Right now it's just rain, but because there's a chance of thunder and lightening, I'm going to be turning all of my major electronics off and my Internet Router box will also be unplugged until all of this passes so we don't risk lightening shorting it out again. I'll be back as soon as possible, ready and willing to mingle with you guys again. Have fun, post like crazy, and I'll be back, hopefully as early as Monday or Tuesday. Fingers crossed! | |||

| Thanks so much guys! I'm back, things weren't as bad as everyone was predicting. The hurricane lost a lot of its power before it hit. I had people in my store (I work in a grocery store, that's what got affected the most) that lived on the coast and they were saying how tame it was compared to how it could be. I just hope the rest of the season is as smooth-sailing. | |||

| It does, but I found out a couple of hours ago that it shifted course and is now about to hit Texas. So that just means lots of (more) storms for me and storms for my dad since he lives in Texas. | |||
