I'm hearing about the possibility of a 7th season of OTH, nothing is decided yet but still. It would be good news, and it would creat a new chance for Bryan/Jake to return to OTH. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the new season will be reality soon. Read somewhere that we should know at the beginning of 2009.

It probably will be early 2009 when we start hearing final words about a seventh season because all the contracts have to be renegotiated and whatnot. Definitely keeping fingers crossed for a Jake return in the seventh season!

As much as I'd love to see Bryan/Jake back on the show, I don't want it to happen tbh. I think it's best to go forward in once career.

I somehow dread that if Mark brought Jake back, it would be only to give a new fan/supporter for Leyton and this is nothing I want to watch. I'd rather have only those moments from season 1-3, then having Jeyton sacrificed for Leyton...

Something I would love to see is a Haley/Jake duet.

The (only) way I would like him back would be:

a) Jeyton. But it would be a bit unrealistic now...but what's realistic about OTH any way.
b) Jake working with Peyton (after all she's got a label and he is a musician, so... ) and them being friends again.

I'm not against Jeyton, I'm just being realistic.

on the other hand, having Jake back and him working with Peyton, would be a good thing for both of them, Jake doing what he likes (making music, touring, recording in a real studio, ...) and Peyton would have a new artist to sign and new records to make. and also it would be great for both of them to have the other back into their lives... the bond that they have becomes stronger again (but then as friends) (hope I made some sense here)

The only good thing in season 2 was Jake's return. The rest wasn't that bad but it didn't interest me as much...
