| Ben Epstein in 1.02 "Crisp" Episode Discussion (Airing February 21) How to Make it in America 1.02 Crisp February 21, 2010 Using $3G they got via yet another high-interest loan from Rene, Ben and Cam buy up a roll of hot premium-denim material, then hit a series of dead ends in their search to find a manufacturer to make samples of their Crisp brand of retro-ʻ70s jeans. Along the way, they parlay a crashed late-night dinner with top fashion designer John Varvatos into a brainstorming meeting that may, or may not, hold the key to their entrepreneurial success. Meanwhile, both Ben and Rachel realize that they havenʼt totally moved on, and vow to try harder in the future. | |||

| Pretty cool episode! But I'm starting to wonder about HBO. They show the episode then reair it right after. If they were gonna devote an hour to it, why not just make the show an hour long? The scene with Ben's old teacher was pretty funny at first. And Bryan with Kid! They crack me up. | |||

| Aw, I'm sorry he wasn't in the episode!  Session, I see your point as far as the network, but an hour long show would be twice the amount of filming, writing, money etc... I'm sure there was more that went into that decision than just airtime.  | |||

| there was just ben and cam pretty mush. But i guess it was okay. I sorta loved the pilot moe. And serisly how many times has rachel and ben broken uip...are they like a on/off coupel or something. Anyway i'm not feeling them. I loved what cam's cousin called ben and cam My cousin and his littel jewish lover lol __________________ | |||
