Grey's Anatomy - Will be stepping down as your moderator...

First of all, I'd like to thank all of you for being such great posters over the years...I've really enjoyed moderating this board with posters such as yourselves, and I've always felt honoured to post with such a great group of people, who have always made the job a true honour and joy. You should all give yourselves a round of applause...

And while I know this is the first I've mentioned this to all of you, I've been spending quite a while grappling with my decision on this, especially given that I've put in so much effort into helping make the Grey's board what it is today, and thus was very reluctant about passing the torch on, but lately my time become increasingly limited, and I expect things to get even busier when I go back to college full time in September, along with still working my current job on a part time basis.

That said, I think it's probably best if I step back from modding for the time being, much as it pains me to do so, and let someone with more time to devote to the board and its daily maintenance to step up and help keep an eye on things. Originally, I'd hoped to wait until fall before making my decision, but after thinking about it further, I thought it might be easier to let someone transition into the position before the new season comes along and things become even busier than they are now.

I hope you understand, and don't worry, I plan to be a regular fixture around the board...after all, I

it, and all of the great people I've met here over the years as much as I ever have, and couldn't imagine leaving for good. That, and I have the Grey's marathon thread to keep up with all on...

And who knows...I may find my way back into a mod position around here eventually...once things in my life have settled down some...

Like I've said, I have no intentions of leaving completely, and who knows...maybe one day, I can reprise my moderator role around here. In the meantime though, I encourage any interested candidates to apply, I'm sure any number of you would do a great job around here...

Actually do think I'll miss moderating around here quite a bit, it's just that I don't seem to have the time to dedicate to it that I once did...

I'll miss being a member of the mod squad as well, Carol...

Hopefully, I'll be able to be back once things settle down some for me. But time will tell...

In the meantime, I'll enjoy being around in the poster capacity as much as I can...

After all, I have a goal to be at 50,000 posts by the end of the year...can't exactly meet that by not being around...

I'll always support you in your decisions as I told you a while ago. I know there are amazing mods all over Fan Forum but I've always thought you were one of the best. Hopefully, you'll stay around if you want to reach the 50,000 posts!

I'm glad to hear you all thought I did such a great job as well, but that's as much a testament to you guys as posters as it is/was to me as a moderator...definitely...
