Hi guys!

Just popping in to say that I'm back home now. Things here are nutty. My daughter's doing an Eco-Adventures Camp at an Educational Farm this week-- lots of running back and forth and my sister and I are closing on my Dad's house this week, finally (my Dad has been gone 2+ yrs now, so we are more than ready to wrap things up).

I see my fellow TR fans have been busy! I hope to catch up on reading soon!
I missed you guys!

At a glance, I am loving all the pics! Thank you to all who posted them! They are making my day!

Didn't Shonda rule out the other actor as George rumors out?

I love that pic it's good to see TR is still close with a lot of the cast. I didn't know EP was due in the fall though she doesn't look that far along!

Yes, she did. She said it was ridiculous. I agree. TR is George for me and for most people.

I really hope they just don't kill him, send him another place to recover from his injuries.

Lee, TR does look ultra hot in that second photo.

I love the color of his hair, and the big smile.

He just seems so young and relaxed and yummy.

Cindy, I was wondering where you were.

You seem to be having a really busy week.

Good to know you're having fun with your family.

ITA. His natural color makes him look younger, IMO. I see he's been lifting weights, too

Yep, he has some muscles on him.

It makes me really happy to see him look so good and content.

Marie, thanks for the pic and the second one was so delicious. You're completely right he looks so youthful and toned. Natural tends to look better. Sometimes I wonder how he would've appeared if he kept the light brown/blond with the long curly waves.

ABC/Disney must've took ownership temporarily to block the campaign or allows Com Cen to air it only sporadically as long as TR was under contract. As for a possible appearance I don't know if a deal was ever finalized just that the network refused to make him available. The format was suppose to be John DeBellis and co-stars doing commentary in-between the movie before commercial breaks.

It makes sense for Com Cen do want TR heavily involved. He would bring an audience not necessarily devoted to the channel but who can be more attuned to its sensibilities. In contrast I read somewhere women who were attracted to the GA men, except TR, were less likely to find Stephen Colbert and John Stewart to be attractive.

I am so happy for him too... unbelievably so! I'm so glad things are going so well for him... if they weren't, then I would be stuck in a George/Gizzie heartbreak black hole right now. Instead, I've been mostly concentrating on TR's fantastic opportunities that lie ahead (and hopefully a chance to see him in NY in Feb.!!)

I fully expect to be disappointed w/ how things are handled in the fall... seems my glass half full has turned completely upside down about GA these days. I will watch. I will watch for my Izzie and for my MerDer, but I don't know for how long... if I feel George is not honored enough, then that will most certainly turn me away...
As for the how, personally, I think Shonda will have to either do a funeral/few epis of grieving/mourning George OR do a timejump of some kind... but who knows?

Sadly, I think ABC is in complete control... and at this point, they are only going to do what they think will sell... whatever that may be.

According to the casting sides for 6.1, the surprise is George's funeral.

I don't think that is much of a surprise(George being dead). "Anything could happen"...wow George is dead. Totally caught me by surprise.

Is "Dr.James" Izzie? And I think the funeral might be a flashback...so there might be a slight time jump.

I'm sickened by the way TPTB have handled and are handling George's situation. It's clear to me the official decision was made in December 2008 and the unofficial one after the Gizzie backlash. Instead of honoring the fans TPTB strung us along all season to reach a cliffhanger that only confirmed news we've heard for nearly six months.

Yes, he died a hero but did we have to wait until May and endure an A/I wedding. Only because TPTB wanted to milk the attention and to stave off viewer desertion. Now that TR is gone they realized people aren't awaiting the new season so they're trying to get people to speculate on the funeral. Is it George or not?

Whatever. Here's probably how it'll be written. George will never take the center because it will be about whether Izzie is well enough to attend or her feelings. Then she'll make this declaration, "I have to move on. He was a good friend but my life now is Alex. Don't even call me Izzie anymore it's Mrs. Alexander Karev. I don't want to be a surgeon I want to be his wife. What I had with George is fine but it's over. Alex is all the love I need." Everyone will be satisfied with this answer and move on.

Cristina will consider the funeral an inconvenience and make snide remark. Owen, who was George's closest friend, will be blase about it since he's seen so many men die anyway. Besides Cristina won't let him grieve. The others will be too immersed in their problems again. The moment of grace will come from the Chief. I'm expecting him to be gone too by the end of the season because the writers would want Derek to get the ultimate title before any formal wedding.

Some here will argue this is OOC but this is no longer about consistency but TPTB's wish to minimize the impact of George's departure. In their minds he's but a minor character. Ava is more important to them.

Sorry, if this was depressing to your return, Cindy, but it's the truth. I'm happy you're back even if it's brief. How's your daughter's ecocamp? What does she do there?

To feel better I'm using one of Lee's pics. I only recently grasped the bottom ones show his sweats dropping down below his waist to reeval a bit of the top underwear elastic. If only his pants got caught on something and ripped or fell off. I miss these scenes of near naked George.

Wow, Gwen, the worst thing is I can see this happening exactly as you say, especially the Izzie part. They made her do the same thing with Denny.

This is the big surprise, that he's dead and getting a funeral?

Wow, they mjust really want us to listen to the show and be desperate.

They don't get that not killing George and actually showing him some respect might have made us watch. I won't be watching.

I love the title. All I kept thinking about when I read the priest saying there's a time to die is that it's not George's time to die.
