I agree with that Donna person. Two people asked before to be let out of their contracts and were refused. Yet TR asks and they just say yes.

Wow that really tells me they had absolutely nothing planned for George at all and they really think him leaving is no big loss if they let him leave that easily.

That makes me super angry. George has a huge fanbase and is loved by most people and they are basically saying don't let the door hit you.

Kristen also seems to say the only reason Eric said it wasn't true was because the cast is being kept in the complete dark.

The one cute thing in this is TR hanging out with Katie, Josh and Katie's mom. At least he has his friends.

That 2 other people thing just really annoys me.

It is IW. He asked to be let out of his contract before the GG and was refused, remember? They then fired him later.

I hope so, but Hollywood is so shallow, I don't know if TR will get good roles. I mean, his own agent told him if he looked like Brad Pitt, he would get more roles.

I don't even find Brad Pitt hot, so to me TR is way way way better than BP, but just showing the mentality.

I am not shocked about Grey not giving George any respect. They made it pretty clear this season that to them George is an after-thought

I expect him to either be killed or vanish in the parking lot

Given his extremely nasty behavior before and after contract negotiations, including demanding he be paid the equal of PD's salary, I sincerely doubt IW truly asked to be released. He simply said so to look magnanimous. Kristin has never met an "official story" she wouldn't peddle unquestioningly. Sometimes I wonder if TPTB said Katie was actually a man would she have printed it. My guess is the other person is PD, who claimed he would leave if his McDreamy wasn't written better.

I highly doubt the rest of the cast are left in the dark as he's friends with almost everyone of them and surely either he told them or they saw the tell-tale signs of an impending departure. Aside from Katie, his close circle includes Sandra, Sara, Kate W., Ellen, and Eric. He's also warm with Chandra, Justin, JPJ, and Chyler.

While I strongly object to her "puke-worthy" comment on Gizzie and the tone seems to think George should be relegated to asexual best-friend status (often coded as gay) I do appreciate her point that his character has been so degraded over the seasons. In fact, some of her suggestions are sound.

Possibilities For George O'Malley: What went wrong with Grey's character and exit strategies.

However, the one hinting at his death at the hands of a serial killer is the type of ending we must campaign against. This would be the ultimate slap in the face to TR/George and his fans. Why can't he be the hero instead of the victim? Why doesn't ABC fire all the writers, including Shonda, and replace them with the TWoP posters if they wield so much power?

Yes but I hear many people call George asexual. Wow did you read Kristen,s column? Tons of Mexie fans saying they want George to leave. Do they really want to lose George just so they keep their couple? How awful is that?

It's understandable for people to want the only character that could hinder their ship gone. I've felt that way myself on many occasions. They're only thinking in terms of their ship, and how it would benefit them, not how much they'll miss the character that'll be leaving or the actor themselves.

As for how awful it is? Yes, it's horrible. But people are selfish that way.
