I don't think she necessarily takes a leave. She never did with her first pregnancy. Even if she misses 1 or 2 episodes, doesn't mean the storyline is wrapped up.

I didn't mean like a proper maternity leave, but like the 1/2 episodes she may miss. I just think it'll be weird for her to miss episodes in the middle of the storyline and if she misses any it'll be after it's done, whatever the outcome. Unless the SL is in stand by for a couple of episode while they wait for the baby to be born.

Camilla said they're filming episode 15. What episode will we be on once the show comes back? I'd say she won't miss much and if she's not in an episode they'll just say she's taking time off after the baby tragedy.

Episode 8 was the finale. So episode 9 will be the premiere. I believe I read something about her missing episode 12, but I do not have anything concrete, it may have just been speculation. I think if she does miss any episodes, they will attribute it to April struggling with a decision, not feeling well and will not be a "break" in the storyline. I think she would still be mentioned and the storyline would continue through Jackson, Arizona, if she's on the case, Mama Avery if she's there.
