We probably won't get new spoilers for season 4 until next month but I thought it couldn't hurt to post this now. We are not supposed to have any spoilers on the TV boards. From http://www.fanforum.com/f210/announc...uidelines.html :

Allowed

A) Promos - Whether false or true.....

B) Clips - Hosted on the TV Channel Website (meaning ABC). Since interviews accompany clips when introducing a castmember on media show(i.e. ET, Regis & Kelly, The View, and etc.) I will allow those since those are public apperances being filmed on public television .

C) Episode Stills - episode stills released by the network ABC, however; only post links to the stills. Do not post the actual pictures themselves. Make note you can still discuss what is going in the stills without using spoiler tags. Just as long as the discussion pertains to the stills, and not spoiler information.

D) small episode descriptions

E) Promotional Articles & Interviews - this is part of the promotion for the show, and it's done yearly . These articles and interviews are done during the months of August and September before the new season starts. These interviews take place on Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, TV Guide Magazine Fall Preview, and Entertainment Weekly Fall Preview. There is no need for spoiler tags on this section since it's for marketing and promotion.

Not Allowed

A) Big episode descriptions - provided by the network and often magazines

B) Articles and interviews that include spoilers - These are not allowed unless you remove the spoiler sections of the interview and/or article. If an article only provides a small spoiler please put a spoiler tag surrounding the spoiler, or provide a link of the article with a WARNING that says the "content may be spoilerish".

If you do not know how to create a spoiler tag, then here are the instructions:

Make sure you remove the * , so the code will work. You know your spoiler tag works if it looks like this:



Now remember the only time you should use these spoiler tags if it pertains to articles and interviews that include spoilers


C) No discussion of spoilers - Please take those discussions to the Spoiler Board. That is where you can discuss side information, and spoiler reports from Ausiello, Kristen, and Spoilerfix. So we shouldn't be seeing discussions in white boxes . Spoiler talk goes elsewhere .

D) Fanart Containing Spoilers - You cannot use avatars of future episodes until after the airing of the episode. Episode Still fanart will now have it's own thread known as "Spoiler Fanart" where fanartists can make avatars and banners that contain episodes stills for future episodes.

Since fanartists have already made avatars and pictures have been posted of 4.01, then these new rules will be in effect starting with 4.02.

This is what Chris said in a PM to me about a month ago regarding spoiler tags:
So it sounds like spoiler tags are for while the eppy is airing in the US and Canada.
It is kind of confusing isn't it?
