Today I have a maybe unusual question. I am asking myself how I should survive the hiatus And I wonder if you guys know any books with a storyline that is similiar to Amelia's history? Any book that reminds you of her? Or maybe a lovestory that is somehow like Owen and Amelia's? Of course it can't be exactly the same, but ...I don't know... Perhaps anyone has a recommendation for me? As we all like the same character(s) on GA we also might like the same books? Or maybe a movie?

I don't know about a book but if you watch Chicago pd the main actress storyline this season is right up there with Amelia's

Well, I know for me during the hiatus, I read fan fiction. I'd write stories, but I don't think I can write all that well. I might try, though. I've heard that one of the characters on Chicago PD is going down the rabbit hole like Amelia did. I'm going to check out that show for sure because I want to see how other shows handle an addiction storyline.

That video is beautiful. I think Amelia does need Charlotte, and someone needs to write a story of them talking about Derek's death. Their friendships is one of the huge reasons as to why I miss PP.

Yes, I think Charlotte is needed and her being a true friend to Amelia and one who has never steered her the wrong way that she is very much needed for Amelia right now. I too miss their friendship, both were so blunt when they spoke it was hilarious.

There are a couple of YouTube videos about their friendship and I love them.

I put in a request for "Alice" at the library today. It should get here in a few days and I'm so excited to watch it! It'll be interesting to see Caterina play someone who isn't Amelia, and I'm sure she'll kick butt as Alice.

Random but.... The only part that I found slightly OOC about Charlotte and Amelia's friendship is why Charlotte wasn't there the day Amelia got her one year of sobriety pin. Sheldon was there, and I loved it, but she had a pretty big hand in Amelia's recovery, too. I'd argue maybe more than Sheldon, because they went to meetings together. I mean, if Sheldon didn't have an addiction, he couldn't go, but still.

Amelia might not have wanted Charlotte there or maybe she thought everyone would come and that wouldn't be her type of thing.

Yeah, but I remember Charlotte telling Sheldon something like "sorry I couldn't be there, hope you saved me some cake."

Also, this is more randomness, but I want Cat to guest on SVU. I love Mariska and obviously I love Cat so that would be like the perfect episode!

I'm shocked she isn't going anything during the break. maybe being a mom and just relaxing before work starts again in a couple months is best.

I think she tweeted that she's going to sleep a lot during the hiatus! I'm sure she wants to spend time with her daughter, too. I'm not surprised she's not doing anything. I would defiantly want to sleep after working what I'm sure are long days for several months.

Haha, I want to read it, too! I literally just requested it from my library system. It's new and not a lot of libraries have it so it's going to take awhile, but I'm excited!
