I know that Jamelia and Crowen are over - that still doesn't mean I gave up on them or more likely: that still doesn't mean I have to accept every other Partner who is in the line for Amelia - and only bc Owen is Single and in the right age... I just don't see anyone who works at this hospital right now who I can see in a relationship with Amelia and accept or even Ship. If there comes a new/old (I've noone in my mind right now) guy who is just "him" and doesn't seemed so "forced" I definelty can accept or Ship a new relationship for Amelia.

For me it just looks so forced. By that I mean: the Producers/writers sitting in a room:"Amelia comes. We've at least give her a relationship. Owen should get his wishes filled - I mean the series could last only one other season. They both have a difficult past (like almost every character in shondaland - I mean Shonda loves drama) - let them share emotions and even though we may don't have a storyline for both Characters full 1 1/2 years (or more) we can build a couple. (I know a little over-dramatic)

My shipping them has nothing to do with them both being single and the right age. I think they're good for each other because they a) look good together and b) have similar pains.

The character of Amelia is older than Caterina, just pointing that out. I don't see how he's too old for her, but my dad was sixteen years older than my mom, so...

I notice it's an issue with a lot of pairings on tv. Mark/Lexie people had issues with it and the same goes for Aria and Ezra from PLL and Beth and Daryl from TWD and now Owen and Amelia. And from what I heard Amelia is suppose to be older, even than Meredith herself seeing as Amelia was an attending before Meredith became one.

I picture Mer and Amelia around the same age, since Mer delayed med school for who knows how long. She's older than most of her class.

I personally have issues with Ezria because Aria was like 14 when they started dating. Jail bait.
