From my perspective, they're perfect for each other. I actually thought it before we knew Amelia was returning! Amelia is hardcore like Cristina, but she's actually open to having a family. She's exactly what Owen is looking for. They're both damaged in a way, and James may have been 'too perfect' for Amelia's taste.
Hopefully they have chemistry.  |

Well, it took people a long time to get used to Jolex, but their fan base is slowly growing, so hopefully that means people will become more accepting of Amen too as time passes. In all fairness, they are a better match than Crowen.
The media used "sparks flying" to describe MerDer's fight in S8, so I think this actually means Owen/Amelia will fight/not get along at first. |
