I wasn't. I actually guessed it right before we found out. But I didn't really realize it before then. Shonda said she didn't even realize it until the other writers convinced her.

I added everyone who asked.

I wonder how Shonda originally wanted some characters and how much they have changed because of writer influence.

:shrug: Who knows? I remember that one in particular b/c she talked about it.

Nothing's made in a vacuum. Actors, directors can alter a character. It happens. It's a collaborative process.

It shocked me to find out he was in AA.

I changed it. There was only a couple of days to reconstruct the board post crash. So some mistakes were bound to happen. :)
