| Richard/Meredith: Fake Daddy and Daughter  Since their relationship is so important to the show, I figure they needed their own thread. Richard is Meredith's would be step-father, but acts more like a father to her. He promised Ellis that he would look out for and guide Meredith. So will their relationship progress, or will it hit a snag? Anyone want to add some images of banners? That'd be great.  Fan List

| Great idea for a thread, man...much as well discussed in the Callie UNappreciation thread... | Do you think Richard would've given Chief resident to Callie if he knew that Callie had tried to physically assault Meredith? Granted a lot of the time had passed. But still. | I wish there was a scene where Richard finds out everything that Meredith has gone through. From the bomb, to Ellis saying "I should never have had a kid" to Callie beating her up, to her being called ordinary by Ellis, to her being used by Mark, to Derek being a bit of a jerk, to all the gossip she's had to endure. I wonder what his thoughts on all that are. | |||

| I want Thatcher to come back, and Richard to kick his ass. Thatcher needs a serious kick in the ass for his behavior over the past 25 years. Abandoning his daughter, ignoring her, treating her like a stranger, slapping her, blaming her, humiliating her in front of her peers. I hate that man. I want to see Richard or Meredith or both ream him out. I don't think I like that Richard lied to a Meredith a few times about her mother's affair, but he probably did just want to protect her. | |||

| I like the suggestion of Thatcher coming back so Richard can kick his ass. I love the Meredith/Richard relationship. Can you guys add me to the fan list? I think he is the closest thing she will ever get to a real father. He truly loves her, unlike the man who donated his sperm for her existence. | |||
