It will be interesting how Meredith reacts when Catherine Avery asks Bailey Alex to fire or throw out of the hospital. This will not please Meredith. And does not Mer belong to half of the hospital? I think Meredith will work for Alex to stay!

Yes and Meredith will certainly not want to fire Alex. This could be interesting between Meredith and Catherine. Bailey does not have the heart to fire Alex, she's probably going to get legal advice.

No I think it was more like mother and son.

She is so over protective toward him like a mother. There is nothing romantic in their scenes together.

Show portrays them as friends and they looks more than just friends.
You don't touch a friend like that, maybe if he was gay, or she was lesbian, but not.

We had scenes like that before, from season 1 to now. She was always there for him when he needed her. Nothing new here. She was with Derek, he with Izzie or another girl. What changed is that some fans think differently about them now.

I made the mother/son comment because as a mother I often react like Meredith towards my sons. The way she was checking if his hair was in order was so typical motherly.
