He mentioned Mark in a cheap way to pimp some character who swept in to screw over the Calzona fanbase. I thought it was done mockingly since we know Mark caused his own damage to CA. I didn't think it had anything to do with JA at all.

Thank you so much! I liked them well enough,but I do agree that his character wasn't given much weight this episode besides being there to move other plots along. I think he'll have a much bigger role next week. I think for me Jackson may feel he loves her and if this makes her happy then he'll be,or try to be,happy for her.

I wish we could have an interview from Jesse Williams. But then again his interviews tend to be extremely sarcastic and sometimes unpleasant for JA fans. Though he did mention that Jackson probably loves April but he sees how happy she is with Matthew and decides may be it is time to move on. It's funny because that was what he said when up to around 9x21 was filmed. He had no clue about the finale...or did he? I am wondering if they knew all along that this would be the result for JA and that is why his interviews were always slightly unpleasant for JA fans.

Anyways, I doubt he will get any bigger role in the finale. He is not a lead character so his airtime will always be less. The only thing I hope for is that he never shares any airtime with Arizona again. I love both characters but they are not a match and tonight showed me they do not work well in scenes together.

I did love when he rescued the girl though, especially since he was soaking wet too...I kind of have a one track mind right now but I am sure there will be more coherence when I rewatch the episode.

Jackson has always been a pretty boy to me, and I enou his character...but when he came walking from the flames of that explosion, I was like HEL-LO.... My ovaries started jumping up and down!! he looked so hot! Excellent excellent scene!!

When he emerged with the kid I was so excited because I knew it was an excuse for a gratituous shirtless scene and then low and beyond...he was shirtless for the rest of the episode.
