Mark and Callie have gone on a long and winding road to get to where they are today, as best friends. They have went from a one night stand to being the number one people in each other’s lives. They love each other deeply, and care about each other so much. These two are smoking hot together... dirty, sexy hot. It's time they start to realize they aren't just best friends, they're soulmates.  1. thackery  Mark Sloan; Even though he’s not with Callie romantically, he still treats her like his own. He is always there for her, during every up and down Callie has ever had, and ever will have. As the writer’s blog said, he’s her person. Mark takes Callie for who she is, and wouldn’t ever want her to change for him. He likes her for the person she has become. There is no denying that Mark sees Callie as the number one girl in his life, no matter whatever other women are in his life. She always comes first. He loves her unconditionally, and even he knows that she loves him too. She is the only person to see Mark for more than sex. She sees him as a person, a person with a heart who is worth more than he’s been credited for. The glimmer in his eyes and the sparkle in his smile that is there every time he looks at her shows just how much Mark Sloan loves Calliope Torres.  Callie Torres; She saw Mark as ‘McSteamy’ at first, not Mark. But that has all changed. Mark is Callie’s person. Mark is Callie’s go to guy, for everything. She sees him as a ‘friend’, not just a sex buddy like most women do. She knows he’s good for more than sex. Callie knows that Mark is always there for her, through thick and thin. She knows he’ll support her no matter what decision she makes. He fixes her when she’s broken, and she will always do the same for him. She knows that Mark is worth more than he credits himself for being. He is the only person Callie trusts with her feelings. She would never give up her friendship with Mark for anyone she’s in a relationship with. Even though Callie probably doesn’t know it yet, we all know she’s deeply in love with Mark and it will just take a flick of a wrist someday for her to finally figure it out. ♥ THEY BELONG TOGETHER ♥ Because he's her person. | So the sides for the "fight" were for ep. 21? Didn't know that. Does anybody know where I can find the article with what Sara says about Mallie? I was curious to read her exact words. I know that the last episode was pretty packed with other stuff so that might be an excuse for the lack of Mexie, but it also proved to me that if the episode is good, there's very little need for Mexie, Little Grey and right now for Mark! :/ If he's not sharing a scene with Derek or Callie somehow he feels out of place! They are isolating him more and more, and I for one would like to think that they are doing that on purpose, so that Mark learns something from it, otherwise it's just really bad writing! I mean Callie in these last 2 episodes was pretty much connected to the whole cast and where was Mark? That's gotta blow up in his face sooner or later! | |||

| I completely agree Zuka! Now that they've severed Mark's connection to Derek, and they're not having Mallie scenes, Mark is completely isolated with Lexie, who also has no connections since nothing has been done with her and Meredith. At this point, I would say they could be the first to go should there be any cast cuts, which is sad, since I love Mark.  __________________ Mark ღ Callie Icon by Wala | |||

| I love Mark too, and I love Lexie (though not together), so I don't want to see either of them gone necessarily, but that episode showed that it could be really great without them. | |||

| They really are without a purpose at this moment! Even the interns make more sense at this point! And the thing I hate is that it's starting to make me hate one of my favorite characters, Mark. Everytime he's on screen now, if he's not with Callie, I just roll my eyes! Derek should really do an MRI on him, I'm starting to think that Izzie's illness is contagious and he got it too! | |||

| Haha Zuka very true! I don't think they would be so bad if the writers stopped making them have to prove themselves to everyone. If they have to do that, it's obviously because it wasn't organic. And the dialogue is just horrendous. __________________ Mark ღ Callie Icon by Wala | |||

| You know in fic, I don't really mind them. I won't go out of my way to read a Mehxie fic, but I don't mind them if they pop up in something else. I just hate the way the writers have gone about it.  And I hate how they've castrated Mark. | |||
