Welcome to the Mark and Callie thread! It's hot, and it's dirty, and it's loving and tender. Mark is Callie's person, and Callie Torres is no beer bong. Over the last few seasons we have seen them go from bed buddies to best friends. Mark has grown very protective of Callie, has been there for her every step of the way, and has become her pillar of strength. Callie loves Mark so much she would never put him in second place. He is, as the writers said, her person.

Callie: A baby was lost, on my watch. I'm Chief Resident, I'm responsbile and the Chief, he gave this to me and I blew it and now a baby's missing so no I'm not okay.
Mark: No, no you are not okay..
[Pause]
Callie: Plus I think my husband's having an affair.
Mark: Well if that's true he's an idiot.

Mark: I heard about your marriage, and if there's anything you need me to do to cheer you up I'm around day or night... night in particular.

Season 5

Callie: You're good for more than just sex, Mark.

Derek: Yang should be your type. She's intense, intelligent, complicated... She's like a single malt scotch, and you're used to beer bongs.
Mark: Callie Torres is no beer bong.

Mark: Are you okay?
Callie: Do I look like I'm okay?

I do have a feeling Callie's going to be with the chicas for a little while, at least.

I think so too and seems like the Mark/Lexie thing being a secret will drag on forever, so you know they'll be having this huge love story

I think they'd be stupid not to have them. Those are the only enjoyable parts for a lot of people.

Truth be told, I think my GA days are kind of numbered. Ah well b/c damn the Office does cheating, banter, and well everything else better.

We'll see. We have no confirmation that Jessica Capshaw will be on for very long, and we don't know about Lexie and Mark and how long they last. I will keep an eye on spoilers and remain semi-hopeful. Until then, I have CSI.

I hope they are, too. But people like George and Izzie don't talk anymore, so I have to wonder.

I mean, once Chyler starts to enter her later pregnancy, I'm assuming her screentime is going to have to be cut, so hopefully they can have more Mallie scenes.
