That so sounds like something I'd probably do, Michelle... After all, you're talking to the girl who actually managed to snag her pajama pants on my dresser handle and rip a huge hole into the side of them a couple weeks ago, so trust me, you're not alone in your idiocy...

I heard on the news about some of the storms coming through your area, and all I can really say is 'Brrrrr!' *shivers* We actually have yet to get a snow that's really stuck to the ground over here, which I'm pretty thankful for to be honest...not the biggest winter fan...*shakes head*

That sounds downright festive there, Michelle... Thinking I'll probably work with my sister on setting up our Christmas tree over here tomorrow night, as it's a household tradition to put it up either on or after my dad's birthday, which coincidentally enough is also tomorrow...

Is it now? I'd never actually really heard about that until Michelle mentioned it just now, but it sounds interesting...not to mention kind of funny to me...

WGN fireplace TV at 3 am...it even sounds hilarious...

So I went to the doctor this afternoon and he said "if it was purple, then it's definately broken. Fractured even." So it's not a clean break or it would be disfigured, rather it's a fracture. Unfortuneately there is nothing they can do- you can't cast toes so I have to have it taped every day and let it heal on it's own. I also can take copious amounts of Tylenol Three if I want (except before I drive).

I have to keep pressure off the right foot and have it elevated at times. Does it help that I'm sitting on that foot right now, ah no.

I have a long week ahead of me: tomorrow is First Aid training, then Wednesday is CPR training and then Thursday is a computer training course. I have "homework" to do right now (after I get some website stuff done)- Access 2000. I'm self teaching myself because the course I'm scheduled to go on is in January and the possibility of me not being rehired soon is up in the air (budget is like almost nil). Tomorrow I have First Aid homework. Gah. Busy week.

Then I have to do baking and cooking on the weekend and next week too. I'm hosting a Potluck luncheon next Monday at work, then Friday is our base wide Christmas party. I'm cooking/baking for both.

Needless to say I'm tired and getting more tired just thinking of it.

Sounds like you've really got a lot going on there, Michelle... And with a broken toe no less...awww... Hopefully all your hard work with these courses will help you find another position soon, before your one at this current job expires. I have my fingers crossed for you, man...definitely...

Now I understand why so many ER fans can't stand Jon Stamos! He and Eric Dane were at the premiere of their upcoming movie Wedding Wars airing on A&E this weekend and Kristin from E! asked what Jon's nickname would be. He said he works on ER, not McDonald's so his name is Jon Stamos. If he ever works at McDonald's you can call him McNugget. To which Eric said Jon's nickname is McS***ty!
He really is arrogant. Apparently he's claiming he and Bob Saget has saved NBC. Last I checked NBC was still in 4th place so, in the words of Bailey, he needs to shut the heck up! And to think I used to like that guy too.

Man, John Stamos is even more of a McMoron than I'd always been thinking. Seriously...hiking up Mt. Ego much? Hell, I used to like him back in the Full House days, but since he's just proven himself to be more and more of a ass as the years have gone by...just gah...

And frankly, I've heard the Bob Saget game show sucks 9476893467346878 flavours of ass, so I have no idea what he's smoking to think him and Saget saved NBC. Like you say, it's still in fourth, so some real 'saving' was done there now wasn't it? Hell, I think the best newer shows out of NBC these days are probably The Office, My Name Is Earl, and Deal or No Deal...none of which star either of them...*shakes head*

Seriously. This toe is making me cranky. Seriously. It's making my cranky Izzy come out.

1 vs 100 was actually quite hillarious on Friday with K-Fed on it. He really is stupid. Come on... the dish ran away with the spoon. Seriously.

I think I'm going to tape my toe and go to bed. I'm exhausted, in pain (not a stabbing pain, but the annoying pain where you can't stand on your injured foot for more than a minute) and just plain exhausted. At least I'll be able to sleep in tomorrow for a while.
