Not at all, trust me, I've done some doozies. At least you've never accidentally closed a thread.

I'm doing OK. Not up to much, looking foward to Adult Swim tonight. That's Cartoon Network's night programs. And read a bunch of comics, I'm always behind on them.

Alright...guess I'll take some solace in that...though I'm sure mishaps like that await me in the days and months to come...

Ahhh...Adult Swim...I remember watching it when I was in the States on vacation. Late night Teletoon seems to be the best Canadian equivalent. Haven't watched it in a while, but 'd watching late night Simpsons, FG, and Futurama...

Yep, it's my relaxation. Actually, I need to head out, the cafe I'm in is closing.

Good night!

I'm okay today. I want to go outside to get some sun, but it's hot again and it's gonna rain soon.

Hi all

Again, it's been a few days (okay, er weeks ) since I have been in here....been busy studying for my comps...only another 2 1/2 weeks till they are over.....

Well, I have not posted pics of the construction on my house lately, so here goes..... Getting the foundation laid for the additions has taken forever, but, finally, the foundation is laid for my front rooms

I'm adding a study, new foyer/entrance, with covered porch. Oh yeah, am also extending my current kitchen window out to a bay window type thing.

Study Construction

The sand and blocks pre-construction….

Blocks being laid out for the foundation of my new study and covered front porch….

Under construction…the blocks are under construction, that is….

This will be the new foyer which will lead into the old part of the house or into the new study….

The front foundation is laid….

The foundation for the “bay window” type thing off my kitchen was laid, too.

Ta-da…the front porch/foyer foundation…..

Here, we’ve added the dirt to the area that will be the covered front porch…. Danny, my cousin’s husband who is doing my remodeling, wants to fill the area under the covered porch with dirt to make it solid before he pours the concrete.

Further progression…looking much better….

And me, waving from the spot where my new front door will eventually be….

Hi everyone.

I thought I was going to be around a little more this weekend but I wasn't home at all. My lil sis had a softball tournament here this weekend so we spent about 3 full days at the ball park. They had 2 games on friday morning, 3 games on saturday and 2 games today. They made it to the quarterfinals but lost that game (it was single elimination). They all played pretty well but I think 3 days of >90 degree weather and a total of 7 games wore them all out. Luckily, they already qualified for the Softball World Series in Tennessee, which is in about 2 weeks.

I was happy to have my family here this weekend but now my apartment is a bit of a disaster and I didn't get anything done that I had planned on doing. Hopefully I can summon up enough energy to get something done.

Carol, that house looks like it's going to be gorgeous once it's completed...

Kate, no worries on not being around, and congrats to your sis. That's one hell of an accomplishment...

Me, I was out at sis's boyfriend's grandparent's pool all afternoon...got a slight burn, and had a great time... Best friend is over visiting for the night, so I might not be around much this evening. Gonna try and watch Grey's tonight though if I can...if not, I'm taping it since it's one of the ones I don't already have taped...

I have a bit of a burn too.

Isn't tonight the GA with Viper? If so, I know there will be a lot of people tuning in.

Christy Have fun visiting with your friend!

I'm watching Into The West right now and it's so depressing. I know that it's supposed to be extremely accurate but come on....do they have to kill one of the characters every 5 minutes? The series itself is really good but it's so depressing...but I just can't seem to stop watching it.

Sounds like you got yourself into a vicious cycle watching a train wreck. It's violent, but you just can't seem to pull yourself away...

Makes me glad in a sense that I won't watch something that sounds like it's going to be a bloodbath...

I didn't realize how bad it was going to be. I figured it would be realistic but I just wasn't prepared for the horror itself. And yeah, it's like a well-scripted trainwreck. You can't help but keep watching.
I think my curiosity got the best of me and now I have to see how the series ends.

Goodnight everyone. I think it's time for me to get some sleep.
