Off Topic #23: It's a New Year, It's a New Day

Continue Chatting everyone.

Janine - Yep, my baby sis took the hint too.

Too funny about the Stalkers Club on the Scrubs board. That's awesome.

I hope everyone is having a good week so far.

Hey, Mel. Thanks for starting a new thread.

Too funny. Both our baby sisters took the hint. But I'm guessing your baby sis is old enough to have one. Mine just graduated high school so we weren't too thrilled about that. Oh, well. At least she's happy.

Yea. My Scrubs people and I are weirdos but we're lovable weirdos. We have all sorts of plans for when we finally meet Jensen. I'm not going into details but it involves fake snow and underwear.

My week's going great so far. I just won an auction for a out-of-print DVD that I've been looking for for ages, I'm gonna get paid by the end of this week and I had a day off today. It's going great so far.

NP. It's helped me a lot when I had to work on a lot of papers for school. I'm gonna have to buy it again myself because I need it for school and I can't find my old one.

Hi Janine. You're welcome. Actually my sis had her kids right out of highschool so none of us were too thrilled at the time. But, life goes on. They are cuties and she has been a great mom. But, it has definitely been tough for her.

fake snow and underwear I'm afraid to ask.

Scrubs is awesome!

Very cool about the DVD! And the time off.

Janet - You're welcome.

happy belated birthday Janet from me too

Janine and Mel I'm so jealous of you guys. I always wanted a sister...but never got one. I just have an older brother, and I'm pretty sure he's gonna take the hint as well.
I always loved young mommies, cause I think they have better relationship with their kids, that's why I think your sisters must be great moms

And Janine...fake snow? I want too...(if I'm not gonna get real one, fake is just fine )

Sophia - Awww. It is great having a sister. The one closest to me in age is my best friend. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters. I'm 31, my sis is 28, my brother is 30, and my other sis is 14 and my other brother is 18. We are all close. Yeah, my sister had her first child at 19 and then her 2nd kids 2 years later. She doesn't want anymore. She has one boy and one girl which is perfect. My brother has a son and a stepson.

Gossip Girl tonight. Guilty pleasure time.

Hey, gals! I love our little conversations in here.

Mel, my baby sis will have her baby in March. She's happy right now so guess it's okay. I'm just worried about her future, you know? I can't even imagine having to deal with a baby at 18. Thanks for sharing your sister's experience. That eased my worry a little bit.

You definitely don't want to know about the fake snow and underwear. I'm hoping to catch up on Gossip Girl after the Grey's and Scrubs seasons end.

Sophia, I'm 25. I have 3 siblings and we're all very close too. Eric is 30, Camille is 27 and my half-sister Livia is 18. Your probably right about young parents being cool. Eric and Camille both had kids in their early twenties and they're both awesome parents. I just hope Liv becomes a cool mom too.

Naaah. You don't want fake snow. Go for the real thing, girl.

Hi, Janet!

Janine - I definitely understand you worrying about her future. But, I'm sure things will work out for the best. Wow, not too far from now. Boy or girl or surprise?

Gossip Girls is fun. You'll enjoy it.

Hi Michelle.

Mel and Janet your families sound great. Lots of brothers and sisters. I love big families.
I'm 19, and my older brother is 23. His name is Jim, and I don't see him having kids anytime soon. At the moment he's just dating this girl.
I do have a best friend though, which is like having a sister. She has two brothers herself and she always wanted a sister too. So we kinda are each other's fake sister. Like Meredith and Cristina. Both of us want to have kids young, but I don't see it coming.

Mel I think you mus be a very happy aunt
And Janine I'm sure you'll become a great aunt too, at your sister's baby.
Has she started thinking names yet? I'm like Monica, from Friends. I have already thought thousands of names for my future kids (which most of the time end up using them at my Sims game )
Don't you worry, Live will be a great mommy. She has you as a sister, doesn't she?

Hello Michelle

can't wait for both grey's and gossip girl. and desperate too.

man I really use those smiling faces a lot, don't i ? hahhaa

Sophia - I definitely love having a big family. That's awesome about your best friend. Cool you guys consider each other sisters.

Don't give up. You never know.

I love my niece and nephews. They are the cutest. I spoil them.

I loved Gossip Girls!!

Hi, Michelle!

Mel I'm gonna be an aunt again very soon. Good thing I'm not her Lamaze partner or I might just kill myself. It's a girl. I love little nieces so that baby's gonna be spoiled from Aunt Janine for sure.

I love Gossip Girl. I just don't have time to get caught up on it because I'm so busy with school and work right now.

Sophia, awww. Sweet of you to say that. I do think I'm a great aunt. My nieces and nephew all love me 'cause I spoil them so much. I also have a bunch of names for babies but I only get to suggest them to my sibs. I actually named 3 of my nieces. And, yeah. My Sims all have very creative names.

I'm a little envious that you have a best friend who's like a sister. I have a lot of girlfriends but my best friend growing up was a boy. I had my own Dawson. IDK if you'd love having lots of sibs. Try sharing bathroom time with a sister who was a popular girl in school. You'd barely get to shower. Then there's the fact that you'd almost never get a date until you graduate from high school 'cause guys are scared of your jock brother.

I also love smileys.

Sophia, my family is, well, tough. We all love each other but it can be a bit much. My dad died when I was 8, and before that he was a trucker. I have 2 sisters, both older than me, one is almost 36, one is 34, and I'm 24. Both sisters have children (my nieces and nephews ages range from 5-11), one of my sisters has 2 boys, both autistic. Now for the longest time I scared my nieces and nephews, but apparently something happened and now they like me. Can you tell I'm messed up?
Paul (Kathy's husband) is hilarious while Michael (Marion's husband) is just plain odd. Marion and Michael were once asked if anyone in the family showed autistic tendencies and they thought of me (I'm actually kinda pissed because Michael's family is so messed up, and they could have looked in that direction) so Paul and I keep joking around. "Yes, but you were cured of autism." I guess you have to be there... and as messed up as Paul and I.

Because of the age difference between Kathy, Marion and I I grew up with my cousins, Jess is hilarious. She's 20, and just insane. She wrote on my facebook "JANET!!! Hey sexy cousin, i tryed calling your place, because i'm proud to say i remebered it was your birthday without the aid of facebook. Thats how much i love you, i rememberd! I'm even sure t.c. knows its your birthday as well...which should be writen in the record books, because when does he remember anything. I'm sure he doesn't know when his birthday is. Anyways, i wanted to sing happy birthday to you over the phone so you can destroy your hearing and have a good excuse to get out of school for a while, and just so you can hear my sweet sweet voice....hahahaha. Anyways, i love you and HAPPY BIRTHDAY! i'll try getting a hold of you later, LIVE YEAH (thats right, i went old school on the love)"
